isla wont let me...
isla wont let me cuddle her unless shes sleepy. by cuddle i mean sit on the couch or in her rocking chair and just hold her and her be content. if im standing shes fine. if tim is holding her she will sit with him all day. on saturdays she will sit and watch college football with him all day and not make a peep. but me not so much.

thanksgiving 2010
so for thanksgiving we went to my mother in laws house…i made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and some candied pecans…oh yeah and green bean casserole. i would love to have made a bunch more stuff…but no matter what i make she always makes the same thing too. i dont know why…but in my five years going to thanksgiving at her house i have never had green bean casserole...

im feeling a bit defeated as a parent right now...
isla has therapy…3 kinds…physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. with each session there is new exercises and stretches and therapy toys and sensory stuff….and on and on and on… i dont have enough time in the day or the week to get all of this done. do i? maybe i do, and im just not sacrificing enough. i try to do everything…and i forget things. or...

my mom found this cute owl planter for $3 it is cheeky and the perfect color for my house! so i stole it from her. planted and brought back from the dead a $4 othos plant from a discount store at season end and set it on the kitchen bar!
