- how messy it is for me to breast feed, there is milk everywhere. I leak all day everyday. Vivi has trouble latching to a full boob so i have to pump to soften them before I feed her. Oy.

Side note… Today is first day home with out tim and help. We made it through early morning diaper changes, breakfasts, a load of laundry and medicine. Now we have to all get clean and dressed, more laundry, get ready for therapy, and then lunches. And the rest of the day should be pretty mellow after that. With just naps, afternoon feeds, then daddy gets home, friends bringing dinner, eat, and bathtimes and bedtimes. I can do this!!!!! It will get easier once we hit our stride…

But for now I’m enjoying my family. Right now I’m sitting on the couch cuddling a just fed and clean britches 5 day old who is passed out in a milk coma listening to Tim feed isla lunch and they are listening to Aerosmith’s “Janie’s got a gun” Tim is singing at the top of his lungs and isla is squealing and joining in. While eating spaghetti. Family is coming over for dinner and time together. Nothing fancy just pizza delivery but I’m so excited. Posts about birth&labor coming soon. Posts about miss Vivi Lou and her first few days to come. Also a post about newborn cloth diapering options and newborn breast feeding too.
