I wish...

I knew what it was that makes isla have seizures. I wish there was a way to take them completely away without medicating isla to the point of her being “a bump on a log” or for her it would be a bump in a bean bag.

Tonight she had two seizures before she fell asleep one while she was sleeping and is still twitching heavily.

I wish I could just feel that super heaviness from a sleeping child right now.

——-5 minute break——-

Oh… Well Isla twitched really hard. Woke up and went back to sleep. And she’s heavy. Good.

So blessed that Vivi is a good sleeper Vivi has been in bed since 7:30 (that’s early for her) she put herself to sleep in her crib like she does most nights. (though she won’t at nap time, stinker) she must’ve known her big sissy was going to have a rough night.

On a high note, we went to the pool today and the girls looked so adorable
In their matching bikinis. :)

I just had a heart attack...

I was playing with the girls in my room and hear the front door creak open slowly. Oxford who normally barks like crazy looks at me and then toward the front door that you can’t see and creeps out to the door because he’s freaked out. I slowly follow him……..it was the cat. The cat opened the front door by himself. He walked in and looked up at ox and I like we were fools and then carried on to his food bowl.

Family morning time...

My favorite ever.

I love lounging, cuddling, chatting, playing, giggling, tickling, and spending time with my family. It’s not often we get a morning where we are all home together and not rushing around to head out the door. So when we get them we take advantage. After me being on a trip three times in a month for the business, tims second job, and tims family visiting things have been crazy and we haven’t spent much time as a family.

This morning we all slept in a bit, then went outside under the tree in the backyard and the morning sun. We cuddled, laughed, played, enjoyed conversation, and had a picnic breakfast.

Speaking of breakfast I love making meals from leftovers. Well I love cooking in general. But creating something from something else is a satisfying feeling for some reason.

…Two nights ago we had a cookout with Tim’s family…

*The Cookout Menu*

-garlic burgers

-beer soaked brats

-grilled parmesan and fresh parsley buttered corn on the cob

-homemade mac’n’cheese

-fried baked potatoes

-homemade guacamole and chips

-Mississippi mud pie Yum.

…This morning I turned leftovers into a yummy breakfast…

*Leftover Breakfast Menu*

- fried baked potatoes < home fries

- grilled corn and sliced tomatoes < southwest veggie hash

- fried egg

- topped with sour cream, guacamole, hot sauce, and parsley.

Yum.

The girls are now taking morning naps and im headed to spend some time with Tim. Then I’m pricing jewelry all day for the stores…

Hope you all can take some time and enjoy your family today…

“Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” Proverbs 22:6 (NLT)

Have a great day everyone!

Love, The Karst’s
